Benefits of journaling
The benefits of journaling could really be called the benefits of personal mind freedom. If you want to free yourself of the constant negativity in your life then you must take up journaling as a committed activity.
It's not just negativity that needs to be written about in your journal but all the positive stuff as well. Your journal can be your very own secret place to let it all out without the need to filter. You know how when you talk to people, ever your shrink, you tend to filler what you would really like to say? Well you don't have to when you write in your journal. You can let it all out using the words and emotions that you truly want. That is one of the biggest benefits of journaling. The freedom to use the words you want, to say whatever's on your mind and to express yourself fully and completely without the need to feel shameful or guilt. How's that for a benefit? It's a mouth full but it's true. Journaling can be your number one tool to help you overcome heartache, to help you free yourself from the past hurts or to provide support through a difficult time. Journaling can also be the ear for never ending listening without the ability to speak its own opinion. Awe yes, the benefits of journaling are many. Who doesn't want to express their true self and not be looked down upon for it. Hurts that won't go awayHave you ever been so hurt by someone that you wanted to physically and verbally lash out at them? Sure you have. But making others feel bad because they made you feel bad doesn't server anyone. However, if you write a journal entry with all the things you would like to say or do to that person then you actively release the negativity without hurting anyone. For me that's another huge benefit of journaling. Journaling can become your go to solution for just about everything. Because something internally magical happens when you write down what you're thinking, feeling and experiencing. It releases you from the internal flood of emotions that is almost automatic when triggered and calms the mind so that it doesn't keep bring it up over and over again intensifying the situation. Journaling is a huge part of my own life and I believe it has kept me from having a nervous break down many times. It has released me from the burden of negatively, the burden of shame, the burden guilt, the burden of dishonesty and internal pain of not feeling good enough. It has helped me get through some of my most difficult times by being the one true source of support without sharing it's opinion. Because sometimes we just need someone to listen and not speak. And we all know that that is sometimes very difficult to find in another person. Journaling can do that for you. And you don't have to write in your journal every single day or on any kind of set schedule for you to have a powerful experience. You just need to journal when you can't move past something that is causing you continuous pain. You can experience the benefits of journaling by taking advantage of its willingness to just be there for you whenever you need it the most. Use journaling as a way to get through what you're going through right now and it will become one of your most valuable tools that you can use for your entire life. I'm very passionate about the benefits of journaling because it's the one true thing that I can turn to for everything and it never fails me.
