Do you want to enhance your self esteem?
Take out your self esteem journal and write 50 (yes 50) positive qualities about yourself.
This may take you a day or two but the rewards are worth the effort. If you seriously can’t think of 50 ask your close friends and family.
Just working up the courage to ask them this question with enhance
your self esteem. And then you can put courageous on your list of
I’ll give you a little break if you’re really sweating the 50. You can make it 25 to start with if that makes you feel more comfortable. But I do want you to try for 50 as soon as you possible can.
Don’t make this a serious process. Just ask yourself the question and write down all the stuff that pops into your head.
Don’t edit your answers. And please do not second guess yourself. Just write it down. If you want, you can make a second journal entry of all the internal negative stuff that comes up. This will help you figure out what your mental blocks are.
You could use this information later.
Okay, take out your self esteem journal and get busy.
It will help if you can do this self esteem worksheet with out interruptions. All you need to do is set aside 15 to 20 minutes of ALONE time and let the answers flow.
Enhancing your self esteem will be a lot easier if you have a list of positive qualities you can look at regularly.
I would look at it everyday for at least one week and then just whenever you need a boost after that.
Okay for real this time. Go get your journal and make it happen. There's no better time then the present moment to better yourself.
Every single step you take in this direction will pay off in the long run. I know that in the beginning it's hard to do the worksheets becasue you don't feel like the work is beneficial, but trust me it is.
And you don't have to make this a right or wrong exercise. Just let what is be what it is and change what needs to be changed.
