Make an "I'm grateful" for list
Are you currently appreciating everything in your life right now that is making you happy?
If not, please make a list of 25 things you are grateful for. Put everything and anything on this list. And if you can't think of 25 people, places or things, don't give up. Just take out your
self esteem journal
and start your list of 25 things your grateful for.
Before you know it your list will be complete. Well almost. This list should always be added to.
It will help you identify all the small and big things in your life that you are grateful for. It will surprise you to see how many people, places and things you take for granite on a daily basis.
But this list will also open your eyes to a whole bunch of things that make you feel good. And these will help build your self esteem by making you feel good about yourself.
I mean, what's all the negative feelings about when you have a nice, warm house to live in.
Or a soft, comfy bed to sleep in every night.
What about that computer you have that allows you to connect to your family and friends who are half way around the globe.
The things on your list should include all the things you find valuable in your life.
And don't worry about feeling bad when you find something or someone who you have taken for granite.
Do I have to say it again? I will...
These activities are not to point out negative things and make you feel bad. Just note it and get busy feeling good about having that thing or that person in your life from now on.
So go, make that list of 25 people, places or things you feel grateful for right now. And start feeling good!
