Help yourself first

You must help yourself first and everyone else around you second. For women this might be hard because we tend to think that everyone around us needs our love and attention more than we do.We seldom think about what our own needs, wants or desires are until everyone else is taken care of.

Well I’m here to tell you that you must help yourself first and foremost before anything or anyone else.

Here are some ways to do just that –

- Get up at least 15 minutes before everyone else and spend these 15 minutes getting mentally prepared to start your day.

- Exercise at least 3 to 4 days a week by taking a ½ hour walk. This could be outside, on the treadmill or just walking in place. I would recommend you do it outside if you can, the fresh air will help you feel relaxed and open.

- Read motivational books for no other reason than to feel happy and inspired by reading what others have been able to accomplish in their life and know that it’s possible for you too.

- Tell yourself 100 times a day how much you love and appreciate yourself. Tell yourself how truly wonderful and awesome you are just for being you.

Help yourself build that inner connection so that you can give the people around you a more loving and patient person.

If you are always maxed out with doing, doing, doing for everyone else then you’re not being as personally productive as you can be.

When you’re pushed to the limit you begin to do things half assed. And when you do things half assed all the time it begins to wear you down.

You’ll become burned out and when that happens life becomes almost robotic. It’s not fun anymore. It’s not engaging or energetic. It’s not inspiring and everyone around you feels it.

But the power to change it all lies within you. Help yourself by slowing down long enough to realize that you’re going through life most days on autopilot.

Take a step back and recapture that place inside of you that needs your love and attention just as much as the people around you.

Spend some time there. Get to know it. It might also be helpful to write down what you’re experiencing in a journal. Keeping a journal will help you see where your stuck in life and in what areas you need to focus on more.

Trust me if you take the much needed time to help yourself first everyone around you will benefit.

Help yourself by eliminating the things in your life that are causing you unneeded strain and uncomfortable pressure.

Allow yourself the freedom to decide exactly what you want your life to be about. You’re the best judge of your desired outcome.

If you always put everyone else first then you’re giving up your greatest gift – self empowerment.

You hold the key to unlock your true potential and authentic self. And it’s not about being more or better than anyone self. It’s about being your best self.

Help yourself live out your life’s purpose by allowing yourself the space and energy to get to know what it is you ultimately want to accomplish in your life.

You can do it! You’ll help the people around you 100% better if you start with yourself first.
