How to build self esteem with these ten steps

1. Meditate! No not for hours on end. Just five minutes. Sit quietly for five minutes and become aware of your breathing. That's it. It helps you get out of your mind for a few minutes.

Take a break from all the useless noise inside your mind. Someone with low self esteem should not spend a lot of time inside there, that inner voice will beat you down.

Learn how to become aware of your inner voice so you can either silence it (not an easy task I can assure you) or learn how to let your thoughts flow in and out without all the emotional upsets.

2. Exercise! Once you start you won't be able to stop. It's extremely addicting. But it's an outstanding addiction. And the better you feel physically the better you will feel emotionally.

3. Read! Read anything that interest you. It will keep you from focusing on negative thoughts and feelings. Have you read the Twilight series? Oh man, that will keep you busy for awhile. And focused on something besides yourself and all your problems.

4. Write in a journal. It will help you get all the noise out of your head. It will amaze you how much better you will feel once you write down all this stuff that keeps popping up in your head. Seriously try it. It's well worth the peace of mind.

5. Write a letter! No, not to a friend. This letter will be different. Write a letter to someone you feel has wronged you in anyway. Yup that's right. Write a letter to your enemy. Put down all the things you feel they did to you. And put all the feelings they made you experience.

It's liberating to get it off your chest. Then burn it. And watch your hate burn up in flames. Now you have started the forgiving process which will make room in your life for new friendships.

6. Have wild passionate sex with your partner! WHAT? Yes do it. If you have low self esteem then you've been holding back all this time. Your partner won't know what hit him or her. How will this build your self esteem? You may ask. Because it will give you a sense of pleasure you may have never experienced before. Enjoy it.

7. Get a hobby! Find something you like or love to do and make the time to do it. If it gives you pleasure it can be a hobby. Like making jewelry, candles or scab booking. All these activities will give you a sense of worth.

9. Get a self esteem building buddy! Can't find one in your local area. Go online and find a group of people who are interested in the same things as you.

10. Stop criticizing yourself. You are your own worst enemy. That is not just a saying it is very true. You will do more to damage and lower your self esteem than any other person on this planet.

How so? Because you internalize everything that someone says or does to you. So stop it. You are a worthwhile and capable individual. Rejoice in that realization. IT'S TRUE!
