Create an image board to help you visualize your self esteem goals
Creating an image board will do wonders for you self esteem building goals. It will give you a visual image of what you want to accomplish in life.If you have never put one together before this will be an excite experience for you. It's fun and liberating because you can put whatever your heart desires on your board. Really let your imagination run wild when you create your board. Here's what you do... Get some magazines. All kinds of them. Make sure to get classy ones life Vogue, Home and Garden, Oprah, Town & Country. If you don't have a subscription, don't worry. Either someone you know does. Or you can go to your local businesses and pick up old issues that their just going to be recycled (hopefully) anyway. Maybe the place you work has a subscription to a magazine you would like to cut pictures out of. The only place I wouldn't advise getting them from in your local library. I don't think they want you cutting up their magazines. Just a guess though. The only other supplies you will need are scissors, glue and a large poster board. I bought all this stuff from the local Family Dollar it cost me under $5.00. Well worth every penny.
Here's how you do it...Now all you have to do is cut out all the pictures and words that you want to paste on your image board. This is a fun, creative way to express yourself. Remember it's your board you can put anything and everything you would like to have in your life. Don't worry about how, when or where all this stuff is going to come from. That part doesn't matter. It's not the point of the exercise. Putting an image board together is about creating your dream life. If you take it too seriously you ruin the purpose of putting one together. Besides this is about self esteem building. I want you to know that YES you can have everything you desire in life. And YES you can make it happen. Once you get your self esteem issues out of your way the sky truly is the limit. Okay you have your board, now what? Put it where you can see it as often as possible. Now I'm not saying hang it on the wall in your living room for the whole world to see. Unless your self esteem is high enough you don't care what anyone else thinks about it. But look at it once in awhile to keep in fresh in your mind. Now if you can't find the time or magazines to do this exercise I suggest you go to
Oprah and complete her online image board
,print it out and put it somewhere you'll be able to see it frequently.
I have both. I have three image boards actually. One for family. One for money and one for spirituality.
And one online image board which I printed out and taped it to the wall by my desk that has a little bit of everything on it.
Either way you choose to it is fine. As long as you do it. It will help you get excited about your life once you can see it visually.
