Self esteem goals to help get you on the right track
Create self esteem goals to ensure success on a much deeper and focused level.
Goals are very important to help you accomplish anything in your life.
Setting self esteem goals is just another tool you can use to help you reach your highest level of self esteem.
Once again self esteem is really just about loving and accepting yourself for who you truly are on the inside.
So once you feel good about yourself your self esteem will go up.
Almost effortlessly.
Once you start the ball rolling. It's easier to keep it going in the right direction.
Now goal setting is really quite simple. Some people get all hung up on the technical details of goal setting.
But in the beginning it's just about setting small daily goals to boost your self esteem. Then move on to bigger more detailed goals later.
But first I just want you to start with simple non-urgent self esteem goals.
Some examples of self esteem goals could include writing a journal entry, repeating "I love and accept myself" 100 times today, reading an inspirational book for 10 minutes, etc.
Step 1. Get a notepad. Any size, any color.
Step 2. At the top of the page write in big letters Life Goals. Now I know I said small daily goals but having an ongoing list of life goals will help you get excited about setting small daily goals.
Step 3. On a separate blank piece of paper in your notebook write Daily Goals at the top of the page.
Step 4. Now list one maybe two self esteem goals on that page to be completed in one day. I know you'll want to add four, five, ten daily goals but I want to urge you not to.
Because I don't want you to get only one done then be upset with the process and not do it anymore.
That will only have a negative effect on your self esteem building life goal. (You did put in on your Life Goals list, right?)
Step 5. Repeat the daily self esteem goals list until you feel comfortable with the process.
Once you successful complete two daily goals everyday for a good week , start to add one more at a time to accomplish.
This way you build your self esteem by knowing you can accomplish what you set out to do on a daily basis.
This task alone with have a major effect on the way you feel about yourself.
Get a goal program and start living the life on your terms.
If you would like a more advanced process I would suggest checking out one of Brian Tracy's programs.
He does have beginner, intermediate and advanced material to help you set and accomplish goals.
I have personally used many of his programs with great success. But I will tell you he is very monotone and calm throughout his CDs and DVD programs.
Which might be hard for some people to follow.
Now some words dedicated to Brian Tracy himself.
That's right a whole page dedicated to the man who got me started on the road to self esteem building, self discovery and self discpline.
